Tony Dodd brings over 45 years of aviation experience to NW Advisory practice, with extensive operational, training, and regulatory expertise across both military and civilian aviation sectors.
During his career with the Royal Australian Air Force, Tony accumulated over 5,000 flying hours operating on HS748, C130E and Boeing 707 aircraft in diverse roles from VIP transport to air-to-air refueling. He also served as a simulator instructor on the C130 and B707, as well as a Check Captain and Instrument rating examiner on the B707.
In commercial aviation, Tony amassed over 12,000 flight hours on Boeing 737 and 777 aircraft, serving as a Boeing 777 Check and Training Captain with Emirates and Virgin Australia, where he was a member of the team that introduced the Boeing 777 to Virgin Australia Internation operations.
He is a CASA-approved examiner and continues to add to his experience as a 737 Captain.
Tony holds a Graduate Certificate in Aviation Management from Griffith University and an audit qualification, complementing his technical and operational expertise. His broad experience supports Norton White’s clients in navigating complex aviation operations, training, compliance and regulatory matters.
