A graduate of the Empire Test Pilots’ School, Paul holds advanced engineering degrees and is pursuing a Master of Philosophy at the University of Adelaide. His academic foundation underpins a 20-year career leading complex aviation programs for the Australian Defence Force, from airworthiness certification to guided weapons integration.

Unmatched Operational & Test Expertise

With nearly 4,000 flight hours on platforms like the P-8A Poseidon, E-7A Wedgetail, and PC-21, Paul has led pivotal flight test programs, including air-to-air refuelling trials and P-8A Poseidon integration. As Executive Officer of No. 4 Squadron RAAF, he advanced air-land integration training, enhancing operational readiness. His expertise spans aviation safety, simulator evaluation, and complex program management, ensuring mission success in high-stakes environments.

Key areas of expertise include flight testing and certification, operational and developmental Test and Evaluation (T&E), simulator evaluation, aviation safety investigation, personnel training and assessment, complex program management, airworthiness, and technical oversight of high-risk aviation programs. He also holds an ATPL, Civil and Military Type Ratings, and multiple instructional endorsements.
