NW Advisory Services and Norton White announce strategic collaboration
Aviation specialist law firm Norton White has announced a collaboration with NW Advisory Services, a newly founded aviation advisory firm offering whole of industry Regulatory, Operational, and Safety Compliance Advice.
“As is our hallmark at Norton White, we continue to seek out highest calibre specialist expertise including exceptional legal talent and subject matter experts across the aviation, logistics, transport, maritime and tourism industries,” said Norton White Senior Partner Ben Martin.
NW Advisory Services is an independent business led by Craig Martin, one of Australia’s foremost authorities on aviation operations, safety, compliance and regulatory requirements. Uniquely, Craig has dual perspectives gained over three decades, within commercial aviation operations, and from the viewpoint of the civil aviation regulator.
As a former Executive Manager of the CASA Regulatory Oversight Division, he led the CASA Regulatory Oversight Transformation Program and was accountable for entry control and safety surveillance activities of all certified aviation organisations operating in and to Australia. His experience within airlines shaped the operations of several organisations, implementing aircrew training and safety management systems supporting the integration of the Boeing 777 aircraft type into the fleets of two major carriers.
We have no doubt of the value the NW Advisory Services team will bring to aviation and aerospace operators across the region.
NW Advisory has representation in Brisbane and Sydney providing specialised services across key areas of regulatory compliance and safety management. Norton White law firm advises aviation and aerospace clients globally on matters of law and acts throughout Australia, the Pacific and Asia for the industry and its insurers on liability, regulatory, commercial and financing.
“It is vital to understand the realities of aviation business viability and the compliance requirements of the regulator, and to find complementary solutions for both,”
“The support NWA provides to clients can include facilitating safety and compliance health-checks, acting as intermediary between operators and regulatory authorities, operationalising regulations, and providing solutions to maintain and enhance operational efficiency whilst ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance.”
“We advocate for regulatory and safety compliance, and we aim to reduce complexity for organisations from aerial work and aeromedical operations to mid-sized regional airlines and large domestic and international carriers” said Craig Martin, Director NW Advisory Services.
